Miles has been with the law firm of Andereck, Evans, Widger, Lewis & Figg, LLC, since 2015. He spent two years serving as a law clerk and has been practicing with the firm as an attorney since 2017. Miles practices in the firm’s Smithville, Missouri office and focuses on civil litigation, corporate law, appellate advocacy, real estate, alternative dispute resolution, and workers’ compensation defense. He is skilled in all areas of civil litigation including all aspects of case development, strategy, negotiation, and trial preparation. His experience also includes representing corporate entities including for-profit businesses and rural electric cooperatives.
Miles’ professional experience includes working as an Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, founding and managing multiple small businesses, and teaching business courses as an adjunct professor.
Miles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with minors in Mandarin and political science, from Missouri State University in 2013, and earned a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University in 2015. Miles attended the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2017 graduating with Order of Barristers honors.
Miles is licensed to practice law in Missouri state courts and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. Miles is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Mizzou Alumni Association, and the Federalist Society.
